Description
The Standard 6-Pass bit is a carbide overlay bit with 6 passes of carbide protection on the forging. All four cutting edges along with two passes on either side of the forging make up the 6 passes of carbide protection on this grinder insert. The Standard 6-Pass tip is perfect for grinding green waste, regrinds and second-pass materials. This tooth can also be used for forestry residuals, scrap wood, and storm clean-up.
Carbide Overlay technology is the industry standard, however, our carbide overlay teeth are anything but standard. We embed wear-resistant carbide granules in a tough, abrasion-resistant steel-weld material which is applied to a heat-treated steel forging. The result is a superior insert ideal for high-impact applications.
