Description
The Heavy Duty 8-Pass Bit has 8 passes of carbide protection on the forging. All four cutting edges along with two passes on the side of the forging as well as two passes on the face of the forging on either side of the bolt holes make up the 8 passes of the carbide on this grinder insert. The Heavy Duty 8-Pass tooth is perfect for grinding greenwaste, construction and demolition, municipal solid waste, and regrinds. This tip can also be used for forestry residuals, scrapwood, and asphalt shingle grinding applications.
Carbide Overlay technology is the industry standard, however, our carbide overlay teeth are anything but standard. We embed wear-resistant carbide granules in a tough, abrasion-resistant steel-weld material which is applied to a heat-treated steel forging. The result is a superior insert ideal for high-impact applications.
